How Environmental Metrics are Driving Business Results

Please join the CoreNet Washington State Chapter on November 15 for an engaging discussion with
Kevin Hagen, Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at REI.  For those who think that sustainability and green ideas are “nice to have” and “politically correct if you can afford it”, think again. By looking through the lens of environmental and social impacts, business risks and opportunities were revealed to REI that they would not have seen otherwise.  Learn how, through rigorous focus on these metrics, REI has made significant impact to their business results.

Kevin Hagen is the director of corporate social responsibility at Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) where he leads efforts to develop and implement the co-op's social enterprise and sustainable business strategy.

In his role, he serves as a liaison, advisor and consultant to leaders and business units across the co-op in support of REI's corporate social responsibility goals, including environmental performance, corporate philanthropy and community engagement.
